Dr Rogers is currently working with both primary and secondary schools to develop professional learning networks as a sustainable structure for professional learning. Built on the premise that we socially construct learning, and that practitioner-led training is sustainable and leads to greater levels of engagement, PLNs are a high-impact, low-cost and effective model for professional learning. These are usually linked to developing teaching and learning and the pedagogical understanding that informs this.
